Dr Martin Rees is is a Fellow of Trinity College and Emeritus Professor of Cosmology and Astrophysics at the University of Cambridge. He is the Astronomer Royal and a foreign associate of the US National Academy of Sciences, the American Philosophical Society, and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He is the author of more than 500 research papers and eight books.
