Dr Melike Yozgatlı Gülüm is an education researcher who holds a Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of Kentucky, USA. Her research focuses on inclusive education, teacher preparation, and bridging the gap between educational theory and practice. She explores how teacher education programmes can better prepare future educators to respond to diverse learner needs and create more inclusive learning environments. She currently works as a National Education Specialist at the Ministry of National Education of Türkiye, contributing to the Strengthening Vocational Education in Special Education Project, coordinated by the Ministry with the support and collaboration of UNICEF. Her work reflects a commitment to educational equity and inclusive practices.
