Pramila Rao is an Associate Professor of Human Resource Management (HRM) in Marymount University, Arlington, Virginia. She graduated from George Washington University, Washington D.C., with a major in Human Resource Management and minor in International Business. She has published articles in academic journals such as Employee Relations, Cross-Cultural Management, Strategic HR Review, The Learning Organization, Journal of Indian Business Research, among others. She is also the author of HRMex: Human Resource Management in Mexico: Perspectives for scholars and practitioners which was published in 2015 and 2012. She has published two learning modules for SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management), a leading institution for HRM professionals, on management practices in India and Mexico. Her subject research interest focuses primarily on HRM in a cross-cultural context with special focus on Mexico and India.
