The IAFOR Documentary Photography Award, an award which assists in the professional development of emerging documentary photographers and photojournalists, has announced a new Media Partnership with the British Journal of Photography.
Known and respected internationally for its dedication to photography with an almost unrivalled reach and readership, the British Journal of Photography (BJP) shines light on the important work of both established and emerging photographers, and provides insight into the wider issues being addressed in their imagery.
Since its first edition in 1854, British Journal of Photography has been at the cutting edge of photography, making it an indispensable resource for a worldwide creative audience. It is therefore with great pleasure that the IAFOR Documentary Photography Award announces BJP as the official Media Partner of the IAFOR Documentary Photography Award.
President & C.E.O. of The International Academic Forum (IAFOR), Dr. Joseph Haldane said, “the involvement of the BJP further strengthens the IAFOR Documentary Photography Award’s ability to assist in the professional development of emerging documentary photographers and photojournalists.
“British Journal of Photography is widely acknowledged as the world’s leading authority in all things photographic, so we are delighted to have them on board as a Media Partner,” Dr. Haldane said.
Through a variety of branding and promotional strategies, both online, in print and at the Award Ceremony at EuroMedia2016 this summer, British Journal of Photography and the work of the Award’s winning photographers will leave a lasting impression in the minds of industry professionals, academics, educators, publishers and documentary photography/photojournalism enthusiasts alike.
BJP’s unmatched commitment to supporting up-and-coming talent make them an ideal Media Partner for the Award, and we look forward to collaborating with them to bring much-deserved focus to the work of our talented winners.
